The Best Type of Relationship
- Stay up late with each other
- Go for bike rides & picnics
- Nuzzling noses
- Making silly faces
- Make forts and lay together in them
- Falling asleep and waking up together
- Surprise gifts with each other (Could be even bringing them some candy)
- Talking about their views on EVERYTHING (Outer space, what’s beyond, ghosts, how they want to live when they’re older, political/historical views)
- Making a mission just to see them for an hour or two
- Accidentally dressing the same
- Taking his clothes
- Not taking little jokes seriously
- Explaining, not jumping to conclusions
- Cheesiest dates!
- Close cuddles
- Walking them to the bus stop/home
- Watch movies in dark when its light outside
- Go vandalizing street signs with permanent marker
- Visit each others lockers
- Play music together (Guitars, piano, etc)
- Drawing together
- Finding out alternate plans when things don’t go right
- Play online games together
- Texting goodnight and good morning
- Dye your hair and get piercings together (If that’s what you’re into)
- Telling each other EACH day how special they are to have you
- Plan for the future so you’re always looking forward to something with them (Check points in relationship)

This is Blake McCullers. He was a sophomore at my high school. I’ve never met him and I never will, but everyone who knew him said that he was an amazing, sweet, funny, smart guy. Everyone liked him, except for his bullies. Well, last night Blake committed suicide. He hung himself.
To be honest, I never thought that bullying was a major problem in my school. For the most part, everyone seemed to get along well enough. But obviously I was wrong. It’s so hard to put what I’m feeling into words because I don’t even really know how I’m feeling. I’m shocked, saddened, angry.. This kid didn’t deserve this. No one deserves this.
I know that bullying’s a horrible problem, but for it to hit so close to home, I’m mortified.
Anyway, Blake seemed to be an awesome guy. I wish I would’ve known him, but now it’s too late. I guess I’m writing this as not only a post to remember Blake, but as a warning to everyone else. Bullying can happen to anyone, anywhere, and it can happen right in front of you without your even knowing about it.
So, please, don’t let this happen to anyone else. If you see someone being bullied, for any reason, tell someone. If you are the victim of bullying, tell someone. Please.Rest in peace, Blake. You will always be remembered by your friends, family, and classmates from Taravella.
